JK RowlingSo I'd better be getting a few books for Christmas, or else what else will I read all summer? Well actually I'll just continue with the huge pile of books I borrowed from my friend! The Devil Wears Prada - don't bother! What was all the hype about?? Also reading some Gregory Maguire - some fantasy fun. And I think my beach read this year will be Bergdorf Blondes - nothing like chick lit!
Dawson's Creek / Gilmore GirlsHave just reached the end of season 4 of Dawson's Creek on DVD. I didn't really watch it on TV til season 5, so it's been so much fun going back and watching it all! Of course Dawson is really annoying most of the time, and Joey has her moments too, but that's all part of the fun! Loving it heaps! And season 5 of Gilmore Girls should arrive soon after Christmas, so YAY!! Can't wait!
Home / She Will Have Her WayFinally! The Corrs have released another album I can love! Their last few efforts have been less-than-inspiring, so it was so exciting to listen to Home and love it. It's back to why I love The Corrs - their Irish roots. I'm also really enjoying the Tim & Neil Finn tribute album She Will Have Her Way. It's all Australian & New Zealand females singing classic Finn songs - all the Crowded House and Split Enz hits. Missy Higgins singing "Stuff and Nonsense"; Brooke Fraser with "Distant Sun"; "Don't Dream it's Over" by Sarah Blasko; and a really cool version of "Four Seasons in One Day" by New Buffalo. Awesome!
